Everyone in our community deserves a big THANK YOU for supporting the Tor Project during the year-end campaign.
Every end of year calls for reflection.
As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, the Tor Project relies on external support to fight for your privacy online. One of the most impactful ways to power Tor is to become a Defender of Privacy with a monthly donation.
Every year, the Tor Project (a 501(c)(3) nonprofit) holds a fundraiser where we ask for your support. This year, we’re highlighting three positive forces in the world that are powered by privacy: resistance, change, and freedom.
This year, the Tor Project must raise $75,000 to ensure we can smash Tor bugs and conduct needed maintenance. We need your help!
THANK YOU to everyone who contributed to this campaign! You helped raise more for privacy online than we dreamed possible, and we’re extremely grateful for your trust and support.
It has become a tradition for me to write a blog post at the end of each year, sharing my vision for the Tor Project for the upcoming year. Before talking about what I see for us in 2022, I want to reflect on 2021 and how this has been a year of resilience for Tor.
Every donation between now and December 31 will be matched, 1:1, by Friends of Tor. Stand up for the human right to privacy and donate to the Tor Project today. Plus… new swag!
Hello, Tor world! We owe you a thank you. In August, you helped us raise $107,672.20 for the Bug Smash Fund this year! Thank you to everybody who made a contribution to the Bug Smash Fund during the month of August. This work is critical in helping us to provide safer tools for millions of people around the world exercising their human rights to privacy and freedom online.
