Mac OS X Vidalia Bundle with 0.2.2.17-alpha out

Vidalia 0.2.10 changed the way we deal with the geoip databases by dropping the remote geoip lookups. This caused a lot of headaches for OS X users because of the layout of the package, but it's fixed in this version. You can download the new version here.

Any idea how Wikipedia identifies all TOR exits and won't let you register if you are using TOR?

Think about it... As soon as you connect to Tor, it downloads every single Tor relay from the directory servers... Wikipedia is pretty much doing that. The list is publicly available and they just apply a filter to that list.
