May Contain Hackers (MCH2022) - NL

MCH2022 is as a nonprofit outdoors hacker camp taking place in Zeewolde, the Netherlands, summer of 2022. The event is organized for and by volunteers from and around all facets of the worldwide hacker community. MCH2022 is the successor of a string of similar events happening every four years since 1989. These are GHP, HEU, HIP, HAL, WTH, HAR, OHM and SHA.

Similar events are EMF in the UK, Bornhack in Denmark, Fri3d Camp in Belgium, IHC in Italy and CCC Camp in Germany. The location is the Scoutinglandgoed Zeewolde, 55km east of Amsterdam.

Two Tor events will take place at May Contain Hackers this year!

(1) Modernizing the Tor Ecosystem for the Future, 2022-07-24, 15:00–15:50 with Alexander Færøy, Network Team Lead

In this presentation, we will be updating the audience on the ongoing modernization efforts of the software developed inside The Tor Project -- the organization behind the most widely deployed anonymity network. We will look at upcoming features and changes to the core technology that drives the Tor network and why a Browser may no longer be the only product we have to provide for the user-base that is so crucial in need of Tor's anonymity properties for safe internet access.
